Web Design – The Art of Code
Web design refers to the art of designing hypertext and hypermedia presentations to be delivered to end-users via the World Wide Web using web-enabled software like web browsers, micro-blogging clients, internet television clients and RSS readers. Many people have tried their go at web design – some have been successful while others have come up with very bad web site designs. An excellent web design has been considered to be one that seamlessly integrates web design and content, and facilitates easy and quick tracing of the information one is looking for. A great web design is also one that complies with W3C web standards.

There are various web design trends available. These include mirrored objects or text, aqua buttons, flourishes, coffee cup design of the desktop, animated globe, Comic Sans font, Polaroid, torn notebook paper, marques, counters, auto played music, and frames among others. Most of these web design trends have been over used but they have faded out of fashion. The phasing out of these web design concepts was largely due to lack of creativity. From the time they were created, subsequent web designers failed to invent their own style and instead kept using them over and over again. Many companies have arisen to offer professional web designing services. Web design is however not a head cracking task, it can be easily done by anyone who is well equipped. There are even 11 year old kids designing websites and this has been seen as a gesture to imply that web design can be done.
